Setup guide
Getting started
Same walkthrough as the Tutorial inside the desktop app — connect your iPhone, prepare each phone, then set up accounts, proxies, templates, and runs.
Follow these steps in order. Pick your computer tab below, set up each iPhone once, then finish the rest inside the app.
Device setup
Install 3uTools
When your iPhone shows up in 3uTools, Windows has the drivers and ScaleUGC will see it too. You can close 3uTools after that — just don’t leave it open during a run, since it competes for the same USB session.
Windows needs Apple’s iPhone USB drivers before ScaleUGC can see your phone. Download 3uTools from 3u.com, install it, and open it once — it installs every driver you need automatically. You do not need iTunes or Apple Devices.
Connect your iPhone
Plug in via USB, unlock the phone, tap Trust on the computer prompt, and turn on Developer Mode (Settings → Privacy & Security).
Open ScaleUGC
Launch ScaleUGC Uploader. Your phone should appear on the Devices page. If it does not, close the app and open it again.
Install the helper app on each iPhone
Recommended
App Store Connect API key
Best if you run more than one phone. Requires a paid Apple Developer account ($99/year). No password or 2FA on every install, and signing does not expire every week.
- In ScaleUGC, open Devices and expand App Store Connect API key.
- Create an API key at Apple (Developer role), upload the .p8 file, and save.
- Click Install on each phone.
Alternative
Sign in with Apple ID
Works with a free Apple ID, but the certificate expires about every 7 days and Apple may block repeated sign-ins.
On Devices, enter your Apple ID on each phone row and click Install.
On the iPhone: Settings → General → VPN & Device Management → trust the developer certificate.

Tips
- Run a preflight test on Devices before your first upload.
- Close 3uTools before you start a run.
- If a phone disappears from Devices, restart ScaleUGC.
Continue setup
Add your accounts
In Accounts, enter one TikTok username per line. These must match accounts already logged in on the connected iPhone.

Set up proxies
On the Proxy page, add one SOCKS5 proxy per TikTok account. Install ScaleUGC Proxy on each phone (Devices → Install Proxy App). In Flows, choose ScaleUGC Proxy (automatic).
ScaleUGC connects the right proxy before TikTok opens, including when switching accounts on the same phone.

Create an upload template
In Templates, choose your video folder, captions, music, and publishing options. Save the template when you are done.

Start a run
In Flows, pick your phones, account lists, and template, then press Start.

Monitor progress
Use Activity to watch live status, and Logs for detailed output if something needs troubleshooting.

Tips
- Use iPhone XR or newer on iOS 15+.
- Keep the phone unlocked on the home screen while a run is active.
- Run a preflight test on Devices before your first upload.
